the mumbles a quiet thunder of words
watches the news as the stocks tremble and rise
no long feeling like a threat
to a guy who
who seems fairly effective at .... well, something... but he is fair about it

The metaphors of flame/like all metaphors of war and rage
are matchbooks sometimes left in the hands of children
and madmen
I served my country when called
how unforctunate my government chose not to serve me
or the people I care about... I do no NEED in the ways they do
I think of the last time I was called on to serve my country...
and how unfortunate that my own government INCLUDED ITSELF on my list of enemies
no matter how reassuring....
UNTIL the beatings that gave me left nothing but aching, throbbing, waking up with every day with the same leeky tears my father had before his first cup of coffee.... feeling... murderous. i think. I have never murdered anyone. Still, my experiences give me good reason to feel I have... against my will.... in the services of the hands that can do great good or great evil === hands grown lawless...hands that need to be slapped down by the hand of God. A good slap on the hand as they reach for another piece to the pie to make a quick addition to all the diseases that will come with the early on set diabetes.
The military knows that they have to switch the soldiers from years to months, and did.... I notice Mr. President... and I notice when you changed the policy of sending letters to veterans who died by suicide... and now I expect you to finally achieve more of your dreams to leave the world a better place than it would have been without it... you have already done this to a degree, but now, no matter which way peope are voting, they will pass legislature if we can help it, and address the issues of the people first, which I now is a shared dream. Thank you for showing yourself to be a friend.
Any fool can think. The real trick is to unthink. TRUST NO ONE WHO HAS MORE ANSWERS THAN QUESTIONS...we are trapped in a forest of lies... and time has come to burn it down!!! Only takes one well placed torch...
