Zedan. Stay true. We are all rooting for you. There are good people in every land, despite the differences that cause our governments to constantly quibble and war. Standing by Journalists is something that used to be normal in the press. If any journalist was oppressed anywhere, they were supposed to write a lot of stories, and show the strength of the press, get their people out, etc... Now they kill journalists all over this planet, and it is hardly a passing story in the news. The web gives us a way to do better.

Thank you for your kind words. I am sure you would do the same for me. Others came to my aide, some, when I ran into problems with my government a few years back. The did a lot of terrible things to me and my life... it was hard, and in a way still is, because I will not back down in my own political work, and a lot of people want me too -- our FBI told me not to write anymore books, or just write children's books. I basically told them to Fuck You, Fascist. So, my heart really goes out. I also have found following your experiences a great learning experience.

I have done a lot of writing on the topic,and the article has become more sophisticated. Thank you for sharing your story. You have already made the world a more enlightened place by doing so.

  I am going to spend the day protesting at OCCUPY CHICAGO... Yesterday, I painted a cool protest sign, in acrylic, on the back of an oil painting I did... and have a stand. I will stand there with a sing that reads ARTISTS FOR PEACE BETWEEN THE POLICE AND PROTESTERS.. looks cool. I will put up a pictures... the sun is just rising and I need more light. Funny how we think one person is the sun that our plant orbits around t......and yet when that universe explodes... YOU SEE ALL THE STARS YOU HAVE BEEN MISSING ALL AROUND YOU,HOMES TO PARK AS I SEND OUT MESSAGES INTO SPACE,AND --more importantly --PEOPLE'S MINDS...

You see all the stars out there again, the places to travel and the, sorry to say a so soon, but I do think about it in a way...other women....Must becareful ... reaons for that too.....last time after a fifteen year relastionship,, I was celebate for a year,,, but I love women,,, and other... well, , other women out there more off into art and politics, the lasses I have turned down are rather heartbreaking as I break up.


Anyways, I would not disrespect M by looking around very hard while we are in this process of transition, still, I would be stupid not to... make certain exceptions if you know, well... but not while we live together these next couple months.... a lot of time to decide how I will deal with this new,, unexpected situation.


I have missed a lot places I WILL NOW travel to around the states, like Seatttle,to read, and stay with an old friend who has made the area fans of my work,by reading my comedy out.... and playing comedy from our radio show at parties. If you listen to the green jukebox,by turning off the black and white,onmy the elves attic blog, theelvesattic.com you can hear a funny skit about stoners accidently seeing a movie for the second time and giving away plots and discussing,loudly masterbating last time at the viewing.. our audience laughed andl liked.
I also missed the friends I have missed by being tied to M's mother's needs... I will play on new show,.s

I have been turning down a chance to go to Egyp and write on a newspaper, be their English web connection, exciting time to be there... but my radio show is doing the same thing, featuring a journalist from there. Though it would be Easy to get the cats in and a place to stay in the middle or a revolution near the Nile with Zedan as my roomate until i get on my feet - and my diablity gives me plenty of money to live on ion egypt to supplement my small salary ... a lot of money in Egypt, THANK GOD...LOVE TO SEE ISRAEL... I would thrive. Not sure I can leave my dog alone without me... either... love her dearly after nine years and she starts howling and crying for me if i gone longer than a week and and then will not leave my side for a month. SHE WILL TAKE THIS LIKE A KID IN A DIVORCE, SO LIVING CLOSE TO HERE IS WHAT I DO.. CHECKED, LOT OF PLACES I CAN AFFORD....YEA....lot of grants for single, dsabled artists living alone, and next may, a cheap, state subzidy for being fifty and an apartment for fifty bucks a month which will give me quite a bit of pocket change, or investment money. I paid my own way and taxes from twelve to forty and paid into disablity... still, I hope and pray to God I make enough off book number six, or one, of five, to just not worry about money anymore.


i Always SELL BOOKS WHEN I GO TO READINGS AND SHE WOULD NEVER GO LOSING US a lot of money. I get pretty big laughs, and with new editions coming out with great reviews from la times, and a lot of big stars, it will look good on the back there as I stand under the spoltlights around Chicago.. Now I am free to go out to three, four readings a week like I used to.

Superman lives on in my pantheon of arch-types,those Jungian Voices that I can draw upon, through writing (and Progroff Journaling and a vow of silence in a monastary helped) that lead me on to think that being immortal, as I feel a soul is, makes our flesh vague and temporary, and in a way... we are like snake that shed one skin for another, and will reincarnate. Just what my investigations, and empirical evidence, and experiences, have taught me.... what I have FAITH IN...

oFf to add my voice to OCCUPY THE WORLD and hold up a painting with a protest sign on the back.. stupid idea??? they are both about protests?? Oh, well... most people look like idiots when they try sometime new, others start trends... okay, maybe MOST PEOPLE DO NOT LOOK like idiots when they try a thing no one else does...just me, alright, I admit it... and I swear, my idea to wear long Johns on the outside in the winter would have worked if I had bought some (at a used store) without a lot of skid marks... Yea, the other, dog walkers, at the park all said they could kick my ass.. those skid marks drove the dogs nuts at the park as they all ran over for to sniff them all....idiot I am I did not even notice them until people started screaming at me about whether or not I even have a brain -- ONE OF THESE IDIOTS WHO HARASSED ME WAS SO STUPID HE DID KNOW THAT I DO HAVE A BRAIN... now that was funny ....DO YOU EVEN HAVE A BRAIN...??? These critic.... anyways, though I said nothing at the time, being savvy, and waiting until I could prove this... I went home and jumped on the computer and for their information let me say I checked on that encyclopedia thingie-llike WIkkipeaheadian, and they say I could not function without a brain, so there... I have one... pretty sure. You can not always trust this site, I am told. Okay, I'll check some other sites too but I am pretty sure I heard this somewhere else too... sorry....   • Of course, I shoul add, M. is wonderful and this is my loss, for sure, in many ways, and I do not mean to ever say anything mean about her or her dear Mother, because it is best we do not live together. And they are both great... so please, do not take me wrong. My love for M. is forever, and I would never leave her high and dry, broke and unable to afford an apartment, etc... I am not going to be that kind of person. Period. I can take living here a couple months until she is settled. Whatever. She is certainly gracious and kind enough to do so for me. She is the greatest, M. And I will only say nice things about her and her family, who have been great, which is how I really feel.

    If you like my writing, you will love/ like the radio broadcast, podcast starting on Halloweed, MMy last one Peace and Pipedreams drove a tiny internet studio in Chicago to number one ratings in the city, a world wide hit that made my name and got me a lot of rock and tv and movie and political buddies...even the president, when he was running, liked my comedy and poetry and wanted to meet me sent me a video invitation I turned down.. I back issues, not politician, though he is a home town friend and I love him as a man, his politic are what they are and I do not like them... big critic, but I temper this with my love for a fan of my writing, you know?

On the Elves Attic, you will see that is a huge side of me, and I like to enjoy life, and have a very huge comfort zone with what I will talk about, especially when single, which I have been for like fourteen hours officially, though unofficially for some time, perhaps... who knows?     I cannot complain about ten years writing books--five done, and three finished basically and almost ready to publish, sold a lot of painting, living by the lake. We had a fine life with a lot of problems because of my political work, but that is over now that i a lot of spies friends who watch out for me. If I do leave Chicago, I shall however be COY about my new location.... yes, that time has come.... i may have to go underground if these protests do not stay non violent. WE CANNOT LOSE. aLL my prayers and efforts are against such things, but God moves in mysterious ways, and sends me where I am NEEDED, not where I WANT TO GO....where I need to go.

    I must be ready to end this relationship if all i feel is relief. I am an artist and in no way perfect, but she ha barely cooked in nine years, never cleaned, or packed or really did anything ..... she worked and made a bit more money than me, but I was not trying to sell my books, etc.. for a lot of reasons. I am starting a show that if it does not make money, will at least get me a better radio how... had a nice 1.5 mill offer for the last show, until they changed it and added a woman who was not funny and a lot of other shit they tried to hide... oh, well...such is life dealing with radio and tv folk... thank god for the net, and I now need no studio, or fat boss telling us our show was very popular but with all the pot talk no advertisers were coming on and they NEVER EVEN TRIED TO SELL ADVERTISING BECAUSE THEY WERE TOO LAZY.... helll, I sold ads for my tv show. I sold one for the radio show last night... so there.....one computer shop advertising already and not even trying to go to bong shops, who all want to ad....
    
    
    My life... seriously though, if you know of a cheap apartment in chicago, preferably with a fine arts painter who likes cats and smoking weed (I do not care what others do but I do not want to live with a drunk and do not drink... occasional or whatever I could care less about).
